Mabel is the only girl in the litter and from the very beginning she’s made sure everyone knows it. At 5 weeks old she’s truly a bundle of joy. Whenever we sit in the playpen she climbs straight onto our lap and settles in like she owns the place, and if we walk past without picking her up she’ll happily remind us with a little meow until we come back.

When Mabel was very small, she sometimes had a harder time competing with her brothers at the milk bar, so we spent extra time holding her close and making sure she always felt safe and comfortable. That early attention really shows now. She has grown into an incredibly affectionate kitten who actively seeks out people and loves being close to us. She’s outgoing, loving, and very social, but she also has a playful streak and does a great job keeping her brothers in line, often wrestling them into submission with that classic tortietude shining through. When the zoomies hit, she loves hopping and bouncing around the playpen before running back for cuddles.

Her colouring is developing beautifully and looks so cool already. The colours on her front legs and back legs are opposite from each other, just like her mom, which makes her pattern especially striking. She may be smaller than her brothers, but she has the sweetest, most feminine little face that melts us every time we look at her. Mabel also fully understands the hype around food and loves her wet meals, happily indulging alongside her mom while her brothers are still figuring out what they’re missing.
