DiamondiCoons was built from experience, intention, and a deep respect for the Maine Coon breed. We’re Mila and Kyle, and together we run a small, in home cattery focused on raising healthy, well adjusted Maine Coons with care and purpose.
Our goal has always been simple: to raise kittens we would feel confident welcoming into our own home.

Our journey with Maine Coons began as pet owners. Through that experience, we learned firsthand how important responsible breeding, thorough health testing, and transparency truly are.
Those early lessons shaped everything we do today. They pushed us to educate ourselves, seek mentorship, and build a breeding program rooted in long term health, sound temperament, and ethical decision making. From the beginning, we knew we wanted DiamondiCoons to be a place families could trust.

We specialize in shaded and shell coloured Maine Coons, carefully selecting lines for health, structure, and temperament. Every pairing is planned with intention, with the goal of preserving the beauty of the breed while prioritizing genetic diversity and long term wellbeing.

We are incredibly grateful to have been mentored by Lizette from Cooby’s Maine Coon Cattery in Sweden. Her guidance, experience, and commitment to ethical breeding have played a significant role in shaping our program.
Our philosophy is rooted in continual learning, transparency, and always putting the cats first. Mila has completed the PawPeds G1 course, an internationally recognized educational program covering feline health, behavior, nutrition, welfare, genetics, breeding ethics, and responsible cat ownership. This education, alongside hands-on mentorship and experience, helps guide the decisions we make within our breeding program.

DiamondiCoons is not a facility. It’s our home. Our cats are raised as part of our family, surrounded by everyday sights, sounds, and routines. This environment allows our kittens to grow up confident, social, and well prepared for family life.
We also share our home with our Vizsla, Cooper, who has grown up alongside our cats and kittens. Their interactions are just one example of the balanced, enriched environment our cats enjoy.

Outdoor Enrichment
We believe enrichment plays a vital role in a cat’s physical and emotional wellbeing. Our Maine Coons enjoy safe outdoor time in our fully fenced yard, along with structured play, exploration, and daily interaction.
We also thoughtfully introduce our cats and kittens to new experiences through stroller walks, car rides, and everyday sounds, helping them grow comfortable with travel and unfamiliar environments.
This balanced lifestyle helps nurture curious, confident, and resilient cats.
